Golf tourism is in its infancy in Papua New Guinea and the Island is home to several uniquely challenging , interesting and well-maintained golf courses just waiting to be discovered. Played by nationals and expatriates alike, the popularity of the sport is rapidly increasing with standards of players and courses continually improving.

Port Moresby
PNG's premier 18-hole golf course with the largest membership of all the golf clubs. It is host to several large international competitions attracting amateurs and professionals from all over the Pacific and Australia. Port Moresby can get pretty hot and humid so be sure to wear a good hat and keep hydrated.
Madang
The Madang Country Club has a scenic 9-hole course nestled in trees a mere stones-throw from the beach. The course, like the town, is peaceful and serene and a few rounds in Madang makes for a good all round PNG experience. Like Port Moresby, Madang can get pretty hot and humid so be sure to wear a good hat and keep hydrated.
Mount Hagen
The Mount Hagen Golf Club boasts the highest course in PNG, situated near the airport at a whopping 5400 feet (1800m) above sea level, surrounded by 12 000 feet (4000m) mountain peaks. A beautifully lush course with tree lined fairways and many challenging water hazards. Rain showers are a common afternoon occurrence so the course can sometimes be pretty wet and golf is not always possible later in the day.
Golfing Tours...
We offer specialized golfing tours and itineraries for the more serious golfer. Our tours are flexible allowing you to choose how much golf you actually play, letting you focus on golf or mixing your golf with cultural and ecological adventures.
Due to weight restrictions on our charter aircraft, our golf tours are limited to 6 all-golfers or 4 golfers and 4 partners. Your partners are more than welcome and we will either arrange a choice of activities to keep them busy during the day or they can join you for a good walk around the course. Limited sets of golf clubs can be arranged with prior notice.
