Jungle in Papua New Guinea

Pristine rainforests....

About seventy five percent of New Guinea is covered by rainforest. They are some of the most extensive and unspoilt rainforests in the world.

Plants in the understory of these forests include orchids, tree ferns, gingers, wild taros, cordylines, pandanus, begonias and rhododendrons.

Walks through these forests reveal a host of beautiful flora for those who enjoy nature as well as those who seek out unique species.

Ambua, Rondon Ridge, Karawari, Bensbach Wildlife and Malolo Plantation Lodge all have their own impressive orchid gardens and are surrounded by pristine wilderness areas, providing one ample opportunity to explore and discover the spectacular flora of the New Guinea rainforests.
