Goroka Highlands Journey 9 - 17 Sept 2018

036___Copy.jpgThe Goroka Highlands Journey is an 9 day/8 night unescorted program.  This program takes you on a journey through Highlanda and Sepik cultures.

Beginning in the Southern Highlands at Ambua Lodge - home of the flamboyant Huli people. Thirteen species of birds of paradise, human hair wigs and spectacular views await the intrepid traveller seeking the ultimate journey.

Your journey continues to Karawari Lodge, perched on a ridge overlooking the Karawari River and the Sepik Basin.  You will learn about the amazing ecology, culture and history of this remote and amazing corner of the planet.

From the Highlands fly to the resplendent Rondon Ridge, which boasts panoramic views of the Waghi Valley.  From Mount Hagen a short flight will take you to the famous Goroka show where an array of sing-sing groups will dazzle your senses.
