Birding Experience (11 Days / 10 Nights)

Papua New Guinea is renowned for its abundant population of diverse and unique birds, most notably the iconic Birds of Paradise. As this country has become a mecca for avid birders and nature enthusiasts from around the globe. This 11 day/10 night tour offers birders a chance to explore 3 distinct regions of Papua New Guinea, from the vast rainforests of the PNG highlands to the tropical lowland rainforest at Karawari.

Spend your days wandering through mountainous forest, bountiful island rainforests and waterways with our knowledgeable birding guides. Tours can be designed to include visits to tribal villages where you will experience the unique village life and ancient traditions of the Papuan tribes. Birds are an important cultural symbol and are highly valued in the ancient tribal traditions.
